The Government intends to solicit in accordance with the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. Ducommun LaBarge Technologies, Inc. is the sole source for the dip loop cable tester part number 7-22431-1. Ducommun LaBarge Technologies, Inc. is the owner of rights in data, patent rights, copyrights, and processes related to the dip loop tester part number 7-22431-1. Award to any other source will cause unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency’s requirements and a substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition.
This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
